Tailored Coaching plans are built to a rider's specific needs. 
We first have a consultation to better understand the rider and their goals. From there we use training Peaks to build your plan as well as monitor your progress. 
With this plan communication is key. We encourage feedback from sessions through the training peaks app to help us inform your training.

Goal setting
Equipment optimisation advice if required
Bike fit advice (discipline-specific)

What equipment do I need? 
Power output and heart rate data inform training and are staple measures of performance from grassroots to the pro peloton. It's great if you have both power and Heart Rate but we can also work off of heart rate until you are in a position to start using a power meter. 
We incorporate indoor training sessions throughout the plan. These sessions allow for very targeted training that will pay dividends on the track or road. If you would like advice on trainers feel free to drop us a message via the contact page.
It goes without saying that if you are looking to train and race on a velodrome you will need a track-specific bike, something else we are happy to give advice on to make sure you make the right decision. 
You would think that to be a good track rider you need access to a velodrome to train on. Our experiences at Track Cycling Coach have shown us that it's possible to make substantial physiological adaptions away from the velodrome and then fine-tune them on the velodrome closer to competition. It's the hard miles and consistent work following a tailored training plan that will make you fast!
